L.L.Bean
LLbean.com is the online channel for L.L.Bean's clothing and outdoor
sporting gear and apparel.
Client Challenge:
LLbean.com, along with its agency, Digitas, wanted
to add new content, tools, and functionalities to keep the site
current, engaging, and supportive of the brand.
The Westport Company Response:
We conducted numerous focus groups and Experience Probe usability
studies to measure the appeal and acceptance of LLBean.com's current
and new content, as well as the usability of the site's interface,
processes, and content areas. We also identified customers' preferred
online shopping paths and pointed out issues - and fixes - related
to navigation, nomenclature, content presentation, and transactional
tools and processes.
Our findings led to changes in the site's information design and
front-end architecture.
